Staff Profile

Dear 4th and 5th Grade Students and Families!

My name is Ms. Kacky. It’s actually Kathryn, but my little sister couldn’t say Kathryn when she was little, so she called me Kacky…and it stuck! I am from Denver, Colorado ⛰. 

I live in Plymouth, MN, which is about a 40 minute drive to and from work. It’s worth it though because I get to see all of you every day. I have a husband named Tony, and we have three handsome, crazy and rambunctious little boys...Charlie, Teddy and Gus! I also have a dog named Lucy. She is ADORABLE!

I have a lot of friends here in MN and I love spending time with them. We go out for dinners, have bonfires at night, and we are all in a book club together. I also play a game called BUNCO with my friends in my neighborhood. My favorite things to do are spend time with my family, go out to eat, go on our boat in the summer, check Facebook and Instagram, listen to music, play Wordle and read!

Here are some things you should know about me. I hate messes! I like to keep my house and classroom nice, organized and neat. I hope you do too! I learn and teach better when it’s quiet…but I love to be loud and crazy a lot too! We will have a LOT of fun this year!

I don’t like bullies and I don’t like when people are disrespectful or unkind. I love to see kids sticking up for others and making sure everyone feels included. And I really appreciate honesty…especially when it is hard to tell the truth!
