What We Know About Ms. Burton's Teaching: Ms. Burton loves being a kindergarten teacher and will often say, "I have the best job in the world!" Watching kids increase academic and social skills while giving them power over their learning is humbling and she feels that she learns as much as she teaches. Artfully teaching literacy and math to each child using music, science, and personalized links to reach each individual, Ms. Burton looks forward to seeing the amazing growth each child shows. Ms. Burton loves working with parents as well to develop partnerships to best educate children - parents are a child's first and most important teacher, and she knows the value family brings to the classroom.
