Staff Profile

Angela Jalonack
Dear Families,
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. First and foremost, I feel very fortunate to be working with your child at this most important stage in his or her life. I have been teaching in St. Paul Public Schools for twenty-five plus years. I too grew up in St. Paul and am a product of their educational system!
My bachelor's degree is in both early childhood and elementary education from the University of Wisconsin River Falls. I am licensed to teach students from birth through sixth grade. Shortly after beginning my teaching career, I attended St. Mary's University and earned a master's degree in elementary education.
I believe we all are life long learners and continue to further my education during summer months. I have completed my LETRS training with mastery. (Science of Reading)
In my free time, I enjoy reading, gardening, traveling, and being with my family in their activities.
Your child will make tremendous gains this year. In our classroom we will use hands-on materials and work to encourage social, emotional, and academic skills throughout the school year.
I enjoyed meeting all of you and look forward to a great school year.
In partnership,
A. Jalonack
