Sanden, Jennifer
Hello there! My name is Jennifer Sanden. I am known to your students as Ms. Jennifer.
This is my first year at Horace Mann, I am so happy to be here. I have been a paraprofessional in the district for 26 years. I graduated from St. Paul Central High School. I began my career as a teaching assistant at Head Start. I live in St. Paul and I have an adult son who also spent his K-12 academic journey in St. Paul Public Schools.
My role at Horace Mann is assisting K, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders in math, reading, and writing. I spend a great part of my day in Kindergarten creating a positive classroom climate while assisting in teaching academics as well as problem-solving and social-emotional skills.
I am fond of many things, including my family, my pets, travel, The Minnesota Vikings, The Rolling Stones, Star Wars, and the color orange.
