Ms. Kendra Rimmereid

Hello! My name is Kendra Rimmereid. I am a special education teacher at Horace Mann. This is my second year at Horace Mann. Before I came to Horace Mann I was a special education teacher in Columbia Heights for 6 years.

I collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and students to provide students who have Individualized Education Plans (IEP's) with the services they need. At Horace Mann I primarily work with students in small groups, especially focusing on their math and reading skills. I also support students in their classrooms.

I believe all students can achieve great things when they are given the support and encouragement they need. I hold students to high expectations while also teaching them the skills they need to succeed in their area of growth.
