Mrs. Ann Elenbaas

Welcome! I am Ann Elenbaas, the School Social Worker at Horace Mann Elementary. As a social worker, I have the ability to work with students to support them in developing a social emotional skill set that will ultimately lead to building confidence in the classroom, the school community, and beyond. Social work is centered on the hallmark of empowerment and enhancing individual and collective well-being. I love collaborating with community partners and staff to encourage the notion -a little bit of kindness goes a long way. 

Together with my family we live in St. Paul with our puppy, Winnie. Originally, from Wisconsin, I am an avid football fan and, much to my children's dismay, I am an enthusiastic fan for my favorite home team. I love St. Paul and believe this community is special. In my spare time, I enjoy collaborating with community partners, organizing events, fundraising, and volunteering with non-profits that are meaningful to me.
