Ampact Tutors

Ampact (formerly Americorps) provides grant-based tutoring to public schools. Horace Mann School has graciously been awarded tutors for both Math and Reading. We have a full-time Kdg-Gr 2 Reading Corps member. We have a part-time Gr 4-5 Math Corps member and a part-time Kdg-Gr 3 Math Corps member. 

The tutors provide small group tutoring under the coaching of teachers. They use evidence-based approaches to help children develop skills and abilities in the subject.
