Ms. Katie Adams

I am excited to be the Licensed School Nurse at Horace Mann School! I graduated with my BS-Nursing from UW-Madison. I then went on to get my MS-Nursing from the U of M in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. Aside from being an RN working in various hospitals, I have been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 2001. After graduation, I worked 12 1/2 years at  the U of M Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. I was at Gillette Hospital for 2 years as an NP with Pediatric Craniofacial and Plastic Surgery.  I have been with SPPS schools since 2015.

I have been married for 15 years and we have a 9 year old daughter, Olivia, who is going into 4th grade. We live in Hudson which we love. I grew up in Hudson. As you can believe it, I am a huge Badger and Packer fan! 

I will be at Horace Mann on Tuesday/Thursdays.
