SPPS Students Among Top Finishers in 2025 Math Masters Competitions
Math Masters is a team and individual math competition that challenges students and schools to use critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. Founded in 1989, Math Masters has grown to serve over 5,500 students each year at dozens of competitions throughout Minnesota and surrounding states.
Fourth-sixth grade students from several SPPS schools competed in this year's St. Paul competition at Capitol Hill Gifted & Talented Magnet School. Congratulations to the following students and teams for being top statewide finishers:
- 1st place (tie): Alexander King – 6th grade fact drill round, Capitol Hill
- 3rd place (tie): Abraham Rausch – 4th grade fact drill round, Horace Mann
- 1st place (tie): William Goetz – 4th grade individual round, Capitol Hill
