I'm just as excited for this year at Horace Mann School as I was when I started in 2007!

Elementary schools are the best because we get to teach everything: reading, writing, math, social studies, health, art, science, physical education, social, and emotional learning. We get to teach the whole child!

I have a BA in Elementary Education and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction, both from the University of Saint Thomas. I earned an Educational Specialist degree from the University of Minnesota. I consider myself a lifelong learner.

Outside of school, I have many interests, from reading to golfing to hiking to spending time with family and friends. I'm the father of three adult children. You might see me and my wife at a basketball game, a restaurant, or a concert!

Horace Mann School has educated and enriched the lives of Highland Park and Saint Paul residents since 1930! Our job is to nourish and develop the student's gifts and talents and we do so with pride.
