Betty Lindwall, School Nurse

School nurses are responsible for managing health care (during the school day) for students with chronic health conditions, including managing medication administration and developing a Student Wellness Site Health Plan in collaboration with the principal. Nurses provide emergency care for illness and injury; teach students the skills to manage their health; refer health concerns to primary care physicians; assist families to identify health resources; and cooperate with local health officials and state public health departments in matters pertaining to community health.

My schedule has me at Horace Mann School on Wednesdays and Friday mornings.  Stop In!
