Welcome to Mrs. Kortuems' Fourth Grade class webpage at Horace Mann School!

The Horace Mann 4th grade is a family of learners who work together through team teaching, independent learning, cooperative groups, and partnership learning experiences.

Curriculum Focus is on the core academic areas outlined in the District Curriculum.  We emphasize the development of independent work/study skills and learn strategies for organization which allow students to become independent, responsible learners. 4th graders also learn and practice conflict resolution skills and develop problem solving and personal decision making skills.
